Universidades Postivo is part of the largest educational group in South America. My work as head digital designer was to redesign the whole web identity for the university, courses, theatre, post-degree courses, library and intranet. The strategy used was create a strong grid system that would be applied across all the sub sites and a large variety of components such as media players, news blocks, navigation, calendars, lists, widget containers, banners in various shapes, alerts and many others to create a diverse collection of building blocks that give the university the ability to create new subsites keeping the look and feel inline with the whole site.

Willian Morris was one of the most remarkable Victorian pattern designers. The Christchurch Art Gallery had a tight dead-line for this project basically 1 week from the scratch also a big technical limitation for not using any server-side, I did the the design concepts, markup, ajax, javascript and a flash banner.

This project highlights the use of flickr to handle the image galleries all loaded by ajax. I used this technique to save time and also because the server to be hosted in didn’t allow us to use php.
